2020 certainly challenged us in ways we could never have imagined, however, as we move forward into 2021 (although still under our latest lockdown) we are going to focus on the positives that will come.
Learning to work with COVID-19 restrictions brought many changes to Mokha and some of them brought surprising benefits. We have always been lucky enough to be a busy salon with waiting and cancellation lists, however, with COVID-19 bringing a restriction on the number of guests in at any one time, which although brought financial challenges, it also brought a calmer more tranquil salon environment. It allowed us more one to one time with each individual client and also brought us more efficient time management – something we are looking forward to working even more to improve on our return.
Lockdown has also given us the benefit time to refocus and create new goals and plans. We are excited to become a more sustainable salon making a commitment to recycle as much of our waste as possible. We’re looking at the products and services we deliver hoping to introduce more environmentally friendly options. As soon as the government gives the green light to reopen we will be in touch with all our amazingly supportive clients to get everyone rebooked in, until then the whole team here hopes everyone is staying safe and keeping well.
